June 1st is Children’s Day in many parts of the world. Traditionally, it is a day for kids to receive small gifts, eat sweets, and feel special. But here at Fortune East Stone, we decided to do something a little different this year.
We gave our grown-up team permission to be kids again. For one afternoon, job titles and deadlines took a back seat. In their place came laughter, casual conversations, and a shared understanding that being an adult does not mean you have to stop celebrating the small joys in life.
So, on the afternoon of June 1st, we closed our notebooks, stepped away from the stone samples, and gathered around a table that looked more like a birthday party than a typical office break room.
