Our multi-layer packing standard:
Interlayer protection – Soft foam sheet between each granite piece prevents micro-scratches from vibration
Edge protection – Hard plastic corners on all four sides absorb impact
Carton wrapping – 5-layer corrugated cardboard for puncture and compression resistance
Stretch film – Waterproof outer layer protects against rain, humidity, and dust
Steel strapping – Heavy-duty straps secure cartons to wooden pallets, preventing shifting inside containers
For extra-large monument slabs, we use custom wooden crates with internal bracing to prevent bending under stacking pressure.
Two-person lift rule: For all monument pieces longer than 80 cm, two workers must lift together – one guiding from the top, one supporting the bottom. No sliding, no dropping, no shortcuts.
